Growing up my dad was obsessed with turmeric, he would put it in everything and I was always so interested in what this magic product was. Turmeric is a flowering plant, Curcuma longa of the ginger family. It has a warm, bitter taste and is frequently used to flavor or color curry powders, mustards, butters, and cheeses. You may see it very often in curry dishes as it helps to give a bright and vibrant colour.
Turmeric has many health benefits for you! It has anti-inflammatory benefits, lowers heart disease and cholesterol, and is a great detoxification for your body by helping to get rid of any toxins. It also is great for your skin in helping to reduce redness and blemishes! I try to incorporate turmeric into my diet a couple times a week and I have seen amazing results!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup oat milk
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1/4 coconut cream/ whipping cream
DIRECTIONS
- Heat up the oat milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, sugar on the stove- whisk it continuously so that it does not burn!
- Using a milk frother- froth up your coconut cream or whipping cream.
- Pour out the latte into a glass and top with the cream! Enjoy!
