What is Coconut Red Bean Drink?
This drink commonly known as “hong dou bing” (紅豆冰) is native to Hong Kong. It’s commonly sold at Hong Kong Style Cafes and fast food restaurants. Ingredients in this drink involve: sweet red bean paste, coconut milk, evaporated milk, shaved ice, and vanilla ice cream.
Coconut Red Bean Drink

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp sweetened red bean paste
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 scoop vanilla icecream
- condensed milk
Instructions
- Scoop in 2 tbsp of sweetened red bean paste.
- Next, scoop ice into the cup on top of the red bean paste.
- Carefully pour in the evaporated milk and coconut milk.
- Top with ice cream. Serve immediately.
- Optional: drizzle with condensed milk
