My dad growing up was obsessed with turmeric, he swore that it helped clean out his liver and made him feel stronger each day! He would drink it with his tea every morning and I remember looking at his yellow tea mug each morning really confused whether or not it truly was as good as he swore it to be. A couple years later, turmeric became an insane hit and was sold in so many coffee shops as an latte addition. Last night I read an article about the benefits of turmeric and it’s antioxidant properties. It has AMAZING benefits such as lowering heart disease and cholesterol, anti-inflammatory benefits, helping arthritis, cleaning the liver, helping the thyroid, as well as it’s crazy vitamin source! Safe to say, I woke up this morning and decided to add some to my oatmeal… enjoy!
