Whenever I visit Hong Kong style cafes, I will always order this dish with “ho fan” noodles. This dish incorporates the most amazing flavours from the savoury beef to the incredible crunch of the daikon and carrot. All tied in together with the most amazing aroma of star anise, Chinese five spice, and lemongrass. Traditional Cantonese beef brisket has no lemongrass, but recently I tried this and I absolutely LOVED it! If you want to stick to the traditional route, you are more than welcome to take this out.
