The BEST Italian Meatballs

A delicious and easy way to make meatballs! These meatballs are seriously delicious and so addicting to eat. I’ve made them for my family so many times now and each time it is devoured! 

INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g Lean Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Cooked Quinoa/ Rice
  • 1/3 cup Onion (diced)
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic Plus Powder
  • 1 egg

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large pot, heat up tomato sauce/ pasta sauce found here.
  2. Using a mixing bowl, combine together beef, quinoa/rice, onion, garlic, parmesan, onion powder, salt, garlic powder, and egg. Shape into 12 equal sized meatballs.
  3.  Heat up 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet. Char meatballs on both sides evenly (approximately 5 minutes on each side) until slightly crisp and brown. Remove from large skillet and gently place into your tomato/ pasta sauce pot.
  4. Once the pot boils, simmer covered for 25 minutes or until it reaches 160F. 
  5. Serve with fresh pasta & top with fresh basil!
